Proposed school relationship
Under a future written agreement, CCOM would remain responsible for admissions, curriculum, graduation, and academic requirements while InnerVital Academy would provide the agreed supplemental readiness layer.
Considering Acupuncture School?
This page illustrates a proposed pathway in which Chicago College of Oriental Medicine, or CCOM, would provide accredited academic education toward acupuncture licensure eligibility and InnerVital Academy would add supplemental readiness support during school and after graduation. The model has not been presented here as an executed partnership.
The simple idea
The proposed model positions the school as the academic home for accredited East Asian medicine education while adding a clearer bridge into real-world practice expectations.
This CCOM + InnerVital route supports documentation, safety screening, clinic systems, community-care operations, patient education, institution-facing communication, and post-graduation readiness without replacing CCOM’s academic responsibilities or state licensure requirements.
What the pathway may include
Under a future written agreement, CCOM would remain responsible for admissions, curriculum, graduation, and academic requirements while InnerVital Academy would provide the agreed supplemental readiness layer.
Qualified students may be considered for InnerVital clinic, community-care, or observational experiences where approved by CCOM and permitted by applicable requirements.
InnerVital Academy provides supplemental readiness in documentation, safety, referral communication, patient education, and clinic systems.
After graduation, eligible CCOM graduates may be considered for InnerVital roles, mentorship, or role-fit conversations based on licensure, performance, location, fit, and business need.
For prospective students
Prospective students should understand tuition, time commitment, licensure requirements, board requirements, state rules, career models, patient-flow realities, and how a future CCOM + InnerVital Academy route could support the transition from school into practice.
For healthcare clinicians
MDs, DOs, DCs, NPs, RNs, PTs, PAs, dentists, and other clinicians may bring valuable healthcare experience. Any transfer credit, advanced standing, or formal acupuncture education pathway must be determined by CCOM or another accredited school and applicable regulators.
