Documentation
SOAP-style notes, care plans, visit summaries, outcome language, and chart-audit awareness.
Hospital-Readiness Program
This InnerVital Academy program is being developed for licensed practitioners, recent graduates, students from approved school partners, and healthcare clinicians who want practical fluency in documentation, safety screening, referral awareness, consult workflows, patient education, care-team communication, and hospital-style operations. It does not guarantee employment, hospital privileges, credentialing, reimbursement, or placement.
Podcast episode
This 30-minute episode explains why acupuncture practitioners need stronger documentation, safety awareness, referral communication, and clinical fluency — and how InnerVital Academy is building practical support around that readiness.
Plain English
Hospitals already have credentialing rules. Licensed acupuncturists generally still need state licensure, board certification where applicable, education from an accredited program, malpractice coverage, vaccines or health requirements, life-support training where required, and site-specific onboarding.
This bridge focuses on the gap that often remains after school: how to document clearly, communicate with medical teams, understand consult settings, screen safely, stay inside scope, and operate credibly when other clinicians, administrators, or partner sites are watching the process.
What you will practice

Red flags, contraindications, escalation rules, consent, and scope boundaries.
How acupuncture may be used through outpatient, inpatient, ED, perioperative, rehabilitation, or labor-and-delivery consult models when a hospital approves the structure.
Professional communication with physicians, nurses, APPs, administrators, families, and referral partners.
Clear explanations of care plans, expectations, self-care, limits, and responsible claims.
Intake, scheduling, service recovery, CRM/EMR literacy, and operational standards.
Observation, internship-style, supervised, community-care, and partner-site expectations where permitted.
Documentation portfolio, safety checklist, case presentation, readiness interview, and role-fit conversation.
