Messaging Terms
These terms describe account messaging choices in the Patient Portal. They do not authorize payments, change treatment decisions, or replace a professional practice’s patient privacy notice.
Sender and service scope
InnerVital Health Group Inc. provides platform and account communications. Care-related service messages may be sent for the licensed InnerVital practice providing your care, identified in your appointment and service records, including InnerVital Wabash PLLC where applicable. The clinic remains responsible for its clinical communications.
Explicit service permission covers non-marketing account, appointment and care notices, care questionnaires, care-related feedback, and support inquiries and replies. Feedback and support are not a separate promotional subscription. We do not use service permission for unrelated research, cross-selling or partner advertising.
Verified destinations and initial setup
Initial online profile setup requires separate acceptance of the service Terms and a choice of at least one verified, eligible service-contact method, unless the clinic has approved an alternative-contact arrangement. Email and SMS choices are independent and initially unchecked. Email alone can satisfy the contact choice; SMS enrollment is voluntary. An approved alternative arrangement grants neither electronic permission. Only explicitly selected, verified destinations receive a grant. Changing an email or phone number does not transfer permission to the new destination. New or suppressed destinations require review, verification and any applicable provider-supported opt-in process.
Account access, sign-in, verification and security functions do not depend on accepting marketing. After initial setup, withdrawing a messaging permission does not prevent ordinary profile edits or account access. Saving a profile never automatically grants or restores a withdrawn permission. You can request a reasonable alternative or confidential contact arrangement through the clinic contact form or support@innervital.com, including before profile completion. Authorized Staff records a clinic-approved arrangement without granting email or SMS permission.
Withdraw or change permission
Use Account → Sign-in & security → Messaging preferences. You may withdraw a channel without accepting new service Terms. Ordinary saves, login and cookie choices do not restore withdrawal. Account and record access remain available; arrange another way for the clinic to reach you when you stop a contact method.
Preference, verification, suppression and delivery eligibility are checked when work is queued and immediately before sending. Messages already sent cannot be recalled. Provider complaints, bounces and recognized opt-outs can stop delivery even where a permission remains recorded. Re-enrollment must be explicit and must not bypass provider suppression. For email assistance or withdrawal requests, contact support@innervital.com; do not send urgent or unnecessary clinical information by ordinary email.
Texts and unavailable programs
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help where the supported text program is available. Recording permission does not activate SMS delivery. New portal reminder and care-feedback SMS remains unavailable pending approved campaign coverage, verified permission and authenticated STOP synchronization. Existing telephone and text routing is not changed by these settings.
Optional marketing email, automated marketing texts and InnerVital-sent partner offers are separate permissions and remain unavailable. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchasing services. Partner offers would be sent by InnerVital Health Group Inc.; the choice does not authorize exporting contact information to partners, direct partner messaging, or disclosure of protected health information. Any future marketing program requires its own approved sender, disclosures, unsubscribe and provider arrangements.
Transactional and operational messages
Requested identity verification and security messages, appointment transactions and legitimate gift notices have their own purpose and safeguards. A gift recipient does not need a Patient account. Recipient eligibility, suppression and delivery limits can prevent delivery; provider acceptance does not confirm inbox receipt. Calendar replies do not cancel, reschedule or record attendance for a clinical appointment. Use the Patient Portal for those actions.
See the service Terms, Privacy Policy and Cookie and storage notice. These terms describe the currently available messaging choices; they do not establish that a program is available in every jurisdiction.
Optional recurring text messages
Accepting these Terms does not enroll you in SMS. SMS enrollment requires a separate, initially unchecked, voluntary choice for your verified mobile number. Email preferences are separate. You may save a profile, receive care and purchase services without SMS enrollment.
InnerVital's optional recurring text program covers account and appointment updates, reminders and post-visit feedback. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. When enrollment and the program are eligible, InnerVital sends an enrollment confirmation before other program texts. A saved preference does not establish that the program is active or that a message was delivered.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. You may also withdraw in Account → Messaging preferences or contact support@innervital.com. STOP and existing suppressions remain in force; logging in, saving a profile or sending START does not automatically enroll you again. Messages already sent cannot be recalled. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not use SMS for emergencies.
See the Privacy Policy for mobile-information protections. These texts do not authorize payments or replace clinical consent.
